Day CampsAll camps will be held at the University of Portland. This camp is designed for players to develop their overall soccer skills. The focus will be on techniques. Daily program includes warm-up, individual fundamentals, passing, heading, trapping, shooting, dribbling, tackling, position play, team-play tactics, and small group instruction. Camp is open to players ages 6-13 of all skill levels. All the techniques learned will be put into game and competitive situations in the afternoons.

Elite Live-In CampsThe Elite Camp will be conducted by head coaches Bill Irwin and Garrett Smith. The coaching sessions will be designed by the Portland coaching staff to challenge players with advanced technical and tactical components of the game. The objective of this camp is to train in a highly competitive environment and make the most of your camp experience. Each camper can proceed at his/her own level of development. If you want to test yourself against the best then this camp is for you. Commuter Option Our commuter option is designed for the camper who wants to attend a full day of camp but does not want to stay overnight in the dorms on campus. Commuters will be dropped off at 9:00am each day and picked up after our evening session at 9:00pm. We will provide each commuter with lunch, dinner, and a room to rest in between sessions. Team Registration 7:00am Wake-Up 7:30am Breakfast 9:00am Practice Session #1 Noon Lunch 12:30pm-2:00pm Rest 2:15pm Practice Session II 5:00pm Dinner 6:30pm Start of evening matches 9:00pm End of evening matches 11:00pm Lights Out What to bring to Camp: All campers are responsible for bringing; soccer shoes, shin guards (you will not participate without them), snack money (sundries and possibly pizza at night), fan (dorms can be warm), soccer attire, toiletries, alarm lock, shoe bag or small backpack, water bottle and sunscreen. Campers must be in soccer attire to participate in activities throughout the day. PLEASE DO NOT BRING A SOCCER BALL. We will supply all balls for the camp. ****PleaseNote: Bedding and towels are supplied (towels are small and many campers prefer to bring their own). Please keep in mind that items on this list are suggestions for your week at camp. There will be a room provided for commuters to rest between sessions. Medications: When campers arrive on campus for check-in all medications will be handed over to our athletic trainer and everything will be handled accordingly through them. Refunds To receive a refund you must submit this REFUND REQUEST FORM via email to stipetic@up.edu or fax to 503-943-8082. To receive a refund of the registration fees paid less the deposit, a notice of cancellation must be received one week prior to the first day of the camp session for which the cancellation is being made. *All Day Camps have a $50.00 non-refundable deposit and Live-in Camps a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. |
